Ring Sizing Guide

How to Find Your Ring Size

Measure carefully before ordering. Tungsten carbide rings are not normally resized like gold or silver rings, so a different fit generally means replacing the ring with another size.

Start with a Jeweler or Ring Sizer

We recommend having a jeweler measure the finger you plan to wear the ring on. If possible, try sizing bands similar in width and interior shape to your chosen ring. The ring should feel secure without pinching and pass over your knuckle with gentle resistance.

At-Home Check: A Strip of Paper

  1. Wrap a narrow strip of paper around the base of your intended finger. Keep it snug without squeezing.
  2. Mark where the ends overlap.
  3. Lay the strip flat and measure the marked length in millimeters. This is your finger circumference.
  4. Compare your measurement with the approximate chart below.

Paper can bend or tighten unevenly, so use this method as a rough check, not a substitute for a proper ring sizer. Repeat the measurement before choosing a size.

At-Home Check: An Existing Ring

Use a ring that fits the same finger comfortably, ideally with a similar band width. Measure straight across its inside opening, from inner edge to inner edge, in millimeters. Do not include the metal band in the measurement.

Approximate US Size Reference

These rounded measurements are a starting point. Check the sizes available on the product page and confirm your fit with a ring sizer, especially if you fall between sizes.

US Size Inner Diameter (mm) Circumference (mm)
5 15.7 49.3
6 16.5 51.9
7 17.3 54.4
8 18.2 57.2
9 19.0 59.7
10 19.8 62.1
11 20.6 64.7
12 21.4 67.2
13 22.2 69.7
14 23.0 72.3

Tips for Checking Your Fit

  • Measure the specific finger and hand you intend to wear the ring on.
  • Check your fit more than once with your hands at a comfortable temperature. Avoid measuring when your fingers are unusually cold or swollen.
  • Make sure the ring can pass over your knuckle while remaining secure at the base of your finger.
  • If you are between sizes, confirm with a jeweler or contact us before ordering rather than automatically choosing the larger size.

Ring Width & Comfort Fit

A wider band can feel tighter than a narrow band with the same labeled size. Comfort-fit rings have a rounded interior, which can also change how the ring feels. Check the individual product description for its width and fit details.

There is no single half-size or full-size adjustment that works for every finger and ring. Try a sizing band with a similar width and interior profile instead of automatically sizing up or down.

Tungsten Resizing Limits

Tungsten carbide is hard and brittle, so conventional resizing methods used for gold or silver are generally unsuitable. Do not rely on having a tungsten ring stretched, compressed, or cut and soldered after purchase. If your size changes or the fit is wrong, you will generally need a replacement ring in a different size.

A replacement is not an automatic or lifetime exchange entitlement. Review the return and exchange terms below before ordering.
